HIGHLANDS A man appeared at San Jacinto Methodist Hospital at about 5:27 p.m. on Thursday, August 27 with gunshot wounds.
The man told of another man in the 1900 block of Jones Road just west of Thompson Road that had been shot as well.
Harris County Sheriffs Deputies went to the trailer and found a man deceased within from gunshot wounds. That night the medical examiners office was working the scene until the wee hours of Friday morning.
The man that went to the hospital with rifle wounds was taken by lifeflight to Hermann Memorial Hospital for life threatening injuries, said to be critical.
The entire case is under investigation by homicide detectives but no name has been released of the victim whose body lay within the trailer. The man that came to the hospital has not been named by the Sheriffs office.
No statements have been released and speculation and rumor in the neighborhood continues.
