Crawfish Fest featured music, dance and auction

Dancing as William Michael Morgan sang songs with his band and solo last Saturday prior to a live auction that raised $21

CROSBY – There was plenty to partake of at the Rockin C Arena last Saturday as the Second Annual Crawfish Festival combined food and music.

Although slower attendance than last year few missed a chance to eat crawfish made by the Crawfish Shak or visit with the ladies of the Crosby Huffman Chamber of Commerce selling T-Shirts.

Other vendors offered the boudan, fried catfish and Cajun varieties.

Diginitaries including Wayne Smith R, 127th and Precinct 3 Constable candidates.

Three bands played for the event making music of sort a feature throughout the night. In the late evening, William Michael Morgan brought the party to life as many danced and most just watched but enjoyed the country sound.

The weather was perfect Texas Springtime.
