Czech Fest benefit held at Fairgrounds in Crosby

Last Sunday the Czech Fest at the Crosby Fairgrounds continued the tradition of the live auction with Eddie Foster announcing the items for bid. This year there were four quilts and although tabulations are not complete the first quilt went for over $7,000. Another sold for about $4,000 and another sold for nearly $3,700 substantially lower than last years’ record sales. The bid catcher at right demonstrates the enthusiasm for the auction.
