CROSBY – A series of accidents last Thursday, Oct. 15 beginning with two hit and runs left a women dead and two in urgent condition.
The descriptions of the vehicles have not been released in both hit and runs. The first happened on FM 2100 at about 5:00 p.m. The rush hour motorist kept going after the collision.
The second hit and run happened about 8:36 p.m. on the 19500 block of Beaumont Highway. She would be transported to the hospital afterwards but expired under treatment. One witness indicated they had seen a vehicle stop and then leave the scene. Although no description of the drivers is offered, it is asked that anyone with information contact Houston Crime Stoppers at (713) 222- TIPS.
According to the Harris County Sheriff’s Department the second hit and run was determined to be an Accident Due to Traffic. Tina King was the victim and no one has yet been arrested as of this writing. The suspected vehicle was a tan or gold 2007 to 2011 Toyota Camry traveling westbound on Beaumont Highway.
Ms. King was crossing the roadway from the south side of the road to the north side of the road. The vehicle struck her. The vehicle fled the scene westbound on Beaumont Highway.
Emergency Medical Services arrived on scene and began life saving measures to Ms King. Ms King was transported to Lyndon B. Johnson Hospital by Ambulance where she was pronounced deceased. This incident in under investigation by the Harris County Sheriff’s Office Vehicular Crimes Division.
At about 9:00 p.m. a call went out for a horrible accident at the intersection of US 90 Feeder and Kennings Drive someone failed to stop and two cars impacted. The result left a woman entirely trapped inside her vehicle. She had multiple broken bones, neck trauma and a condition called multiple trauma that left her unstable and in urgent condition also in need of blood from the dehydrating effects of exposure.
Lifeflight helicopters were called in to take her to Hermann Hospital.
