BARRETT STATION – At least three people, cars and the Valero gas station where it happened were shot multiple times Saturday night.
The Valero at the corner of FM 2100 and FM 1942 in Barrett Station has become known as a local hangout on occasion. Occasions like after a shooting on Saturday night.
Authorities report that several men were allegedly hanging out when an argument broke out. Push became shove and a fistfight ensued. The fighting became a gun fight and bullets went in all directions.
Over 16 shell casings were marked by detectives with the Harris County Sheriff’s Office. At least three people were struck by bullets but there may be more. One man was taken to urgent care but later released. Two others were struck but suffered minor injuries.
Harris County Detectives were conducting interviews and reviewing surveillance video on Saturday and Sunday.
