HIGHLANDS – Harris County Sheriff’s Office investigators said the body of a young adult male was found dumped along a fence line behind Highlands Second Baptist Church on Monday evening.

According to authorities, they got a tip at about 5 p.m. about a body that had possibly been dumped in the 400 block of East Wallisville Road, in Highlands.

When deputies arrived, they found the remains of an unidentified male who they said appeared to have been dumped along the fence line behind the church. Authorities said the victim had stab wounds and appeared to be a young adult.

The victim’s identity is not known at this time. It is also unclear if the victim actually was dumped or was killed at the scene. Investigators said they hadn’t found any surveillance cameras in the area. As of late Monday night, they were still on the scene gathering evidence.
